Seriously????

Mark got a new book for his birthday.
called
A MAN, A CAN, A PLAN
No, not that kind of can...
it contains
50 Great Guy Meals even YOU can Make!
The following has to be the most disgusting of the bunch..,
the one at the bottom...

Spaghettio's, 2 eggs + 2 egg whites,
2 Tbsp shredded Parmesan, Milk & garlic powder.

It's like a Spaghettio's Fritatta.

As Tara would say...

Seriously??

And then she was TWELVE!!

Bright and early one April Morning, 12 years ago, Miss Jessica came to our Family.

She was named after two of her Great Grandmothers -

Tjitske Germeraad (Jessica in Dutch)- my grandmother
and
Esta Marcella Webb- Mark's grandmother.

She's wanting to grow up - of course I don't want to let her.
I had to wait until I was 16 to get my ears pierced -
Mom said... if God had wanted holes in your ears,
He would have put them there.

But.. Mark convinced me we shouldn't make her
wait that long..

so... Voila... holes.

Jessica has a beautiful voice - plays the flute, and Grandma Brown teaches her piano.
Her birthday was piano day - so she got to see Nana.

Riding in the front seat for the first time.. on a trip to Sonic!

Our friend Tara stopped by - always good for
a chocolate bar and a hug for the girls!

For a party, Jessica invited some friends to go see
HANNAH MONTANA!!! AAACCCKKK!
(actually enjoyed it...I did!)
Kylan is a cousin, Erin is a neighbor -
these two have a lot in common,
besides the obvious. They also
both love TOMATOES!

Celeste is in Jessica's class at school.

At the theatre, all sugared up.

Came Home and Frosted Cake.

I love you , my Jessica!

How to stay young!

We all need to read this one over and over until it becomes part of who we are!
HOW TO STAY YOUNG
1. Try everything twice. On one woman's tombstone she said she wanted this epitaph:
Tried everything twice...loved it both times!
2. Keep only cheerful friends.?The grouches pull you down.
(keep this in mind if you are one of those grouches)
3. Keep learning: Learn more about the computer, crafts, gardening, whatever.
Never let the brain get idle.
'An idle mind is the devil's workshop.' And the devil's name is Alzheimer's!

4. Enjoy the simple things.
5. Laugh often, long and loud. Laugh until you gasp for breath.
And if you have a friend who makes you laugh,
spend lots and lots of time with HIM/HER.
6 The tears happen: Endure, grieve, and move on.
The only person who is with us our entire life, is ourselves.
LIVE while you are alive.

7. Surround yourself with what you love:
Whether it's family, pets, keepsakes, music, plants, hobbies, whatever.
Your home is your refuge.
8. Cherish your health:
If it is good, preserve it. If it is unstable, improve it.
If it is beyond what you can improve, get help.
9. Don't take guilt trips.
Take a trip to the mall, even to the next county, to a foreign country,
but NOT to where the guilt is.
10. Tell the people you love that you love them, at every opportunity.
I love you, my special friend.
11. Forgive now those who made you cry. You might not get a second chance.
Remember! Lost time can never be found.
Be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle.
There were some really cute pics that I got in an email with this..
But I don't know how to save them and upload them... bummer!
