Happy Mother's Day!!

I think my favorite quote lately is..

There is not one way to be a perfect mother,
but there are a million ways to be a good mother.

I have given up trying to be perfect, but I will keep struggling to be
a good one.

I am thankful for the opportunity to be a Mother, I know it is an important job, and I am thankful for the help I receive in doing it.

I am grateful for the example that my own mother set for me. I miss her dearly. Whenever I am going thru a rough spell, either with parenting or something else, I know that she would have done whatever she could, and wished she could take away my pain.

(Dec 1994, right after I became a mom, with my mom, and her mom.)

I am also thankful for the opportunity that I had to look after both my mother and my grandmother when they each became ill. It was the least that I could have done for them, after all that they had done for me.

(Yeah, and I'll try not to cry too much today. Stop it already!!)

You are SUCH a great mom, from what I can tell. I know some darn cute nursery kids who love you- and love your kids. :) I thought of you this morning as I was feeling sad that my mom is on the other side of the world. . . at least I was still able to call and talk to her. I really can't complain. Love you!

I missed my mom and grandmother on Mother's Day, too. That picture is one of the best family photos I've ever seen. It belongs on the wall. It's one that your family will always treasure. It sums up "family."

This is very sweet. We all miss our mom's the most. We always will, I think. Loved the photos.

By the way, I'm boring so I kind of ignored that tag. I think I may have done it way back when anyway. I didn't want you to think I ignored you on purpose. Really, soooo boring.

I hope you had a good mothers day even with some tears, crying is healthy some time so dont be hard on yourself. You are amazing and have great kids to prove it!

Happy Mother's Day a little late. I love the picture with all of your kids, what a way to catch what the day is all about.

That's beautiful. I especially loved the picture of all four generations at once. And I'm sure you're doing a wonderful job as a mother. :-)
